EF 50mm f/1.8 II - A lens that can be recommended to all EOS users
This is a recommended fixed focal length lens. When mounted on the EOS, it can be used as a medium telephoto lens. It is surprisingly inexpensive and the imaging characteristics are decent.
It gives subtle background blur which makes it convenient to shoot portrait or still life. Even though it is a large aperture lens, it is compact and lightweight, offering good performance and great value for money.
